About This Course
Assure Safety Pte Ltd intends to offer training to both commercial and residential cleaners.
To deliver quality cleaning outcomes to service buyers, cleaning industries are committed to deepen the technical skillset of the cleaners. In the near future, the Progressive Wage Model (PWM) will be expanded to cover almost 218,000 workers.
According to Senior Minister of State for Manpower Zaqy Mohamad said the PWM is currently mandatory in the outsourced sectors of cleaning.
As demand for environmental services grows, the sector has to ensure it has the skilled manpower and resources to meet this demand.
It’s all a part of learning new skills and it’s also a win-win situation for cleaner and their employer.
Cleaner gains from their progressive training policies and the company earned recognition. As a result, Assure Safety plans to provide Cleaning Chemical Handling (Level 3) as a way for cleaners to advance in their careers under the Progressive Wage Model (PWM).
What You’ll Learn
Cleaning Chemical Handling (Level 3) is designed to equip cleaners with the knowledge and skills required in demonstrating understanding of cleaning chemicals, applying knowledge in the safe use of cleaning chemicals and monitoring workers performance and transfer the learning acquired to their workplace, which includes:
What learners can do after training
1. Demonstrate understanding of cleaning chemicals according to relevant regulatory requirements
2. Perform the use of cleaning chemicals according to organisation procedures and guidelines
3. Inform appropriate person on incidents occurrences according to organizational procedures

Those whose job scope is related to cleaning chemical handling.
Minimum Entry Requirement
Candidates must have:
Received training or on-the-job training or personal coaching on topics that are relevant to the selected technical skills and competencies of the competency unit
or
at least 3 months of working experience
Attendance & Assessment
Kindly note that you are required to achieve a minimum of 75% attendance and be certified competent in all the assessment components.
Should you fail to meet the attendance/assessment requirements and/or terms and conditions of SSG’s funding, you will not be eligible for the course fee funding and will have to bear the full course fees.
