About This Course
The rise of Generative AI has significantly impacted multiple industries, including finance, healthcare, legal services, education, and media.
As AI-generated content becomes more prevalent, there is a growing demand for professionals skilled in evaluating AI model performance, bias detection, and ethical compliance.
In response to these industry needs, Singapore has introduced initiatives such as the Generative AI Evaluation Sandbox led by Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA).
This initiative aims to establish a structured framework for assessing AI models, ensuring transparency, accountability, and safe AI adoption across various sectors. Source: https://www.imda.gov.sg/resources/press-releases-factsheets-and-speeches/press-releases/2023/generative-ai-evaluation-sandbox
Additionally, the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) Skills Demand for the Future Economy (SDFE) 2025 report has identified AI evaluation as a priority skill under the “Special Mention” category.
This highlights the increasing strategic importance of AI governance, validation, and performance assessment in Singapore’s digital economy.
The report underscores the need for structured training programs that equip professionals with the expertise to assess generative AI outputs for accuracy, fairness, and regulatory compliance. Source: https://jobsandskills.skillsfuture.gov.sg/sdfe-2025/priority-skills
