About This Course
1. Understand different types of EPRPs and emergency scenarios
2. Interpret the EPRP lifecycle based on PDCA model
3. Obtain appropriate resources when responding to emergency scenarios
4. Respond to emergency situations in accordance with EPRPs
5. Identify potential escalation of emergency situations
6. Alert supervisors of potential escalation of emergency situations promptly and accurately
7. Participate in improving the emergency response plans

Participate in emergency response drills and suggest improvements to Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans (EPRPs).

Minimum Entry Requirement
Our target audience are those who are 18 years old and above whose job scope is related to workplace safety and health for at least 1 year with little or no prior experience in workplace compliance and/or incident management but are interested to upgrade their knowledge and skills in this aspect.
Entry Requirements:
• Minimum lower secondary and/or able to read, write, listen and speak of English to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Literacy Level 4; and count to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Numeracy Level 4
• Basic knowledge and general awareness on Workplace Safety and Health hazards, preventions and control measures
• At least 1 year of working experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing or similar industries
• Be motivated to learn
Attendance & Assessment
Kindly note that you are required to achieve a minimum of 75% attendance and be certified competent in all the assessment components.
Should you fail to meet the attendance/assessment requirements and/or terms and conditions of SSG’s funding, you will not be eligible for the course fee funding and will have to bear the full course fees.
