About This Course
1. Highlight the responsibilities of the RM Champion in alignment with the organization’s WSH policy.
2. Form a risk management team and ensure compliance with WSH regulations.
3. Establish a methodology for hazard identification and risk control measures to effectively develop a risk management plan.
What You’ll Learn
The ‘Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan’ course aims to help participants identify hazards, assess risks, manage and monitor these risks, and effectively communicate them to all involved.
It ensures compliance with the Risk Management 3.0 Code of Practice and the updated Ministry of Manpower (MOM) or Workplace Safety & Health Council (WSHC) bizSAFE Level 3 Risk Management requirements.

- To acquire the knowledge and skills to be an RM Team Leader/Risk Management Champion for the organisation in reducing risks at source by managing the risk management process at the workplace.
- To develop a practical risk management implementation plan for the organisation, which identifies specific actions to be taken, by whom and the time for their completion.

Participants are expected to be self-directed with an analytical mind and a meticulous approach to problem-solving.
They should be able to apply their skills and knowledge to contextualise the needs of their organisations to complete their targeted projects, innovate and implement a risk management team, risk assessment, control and monitor the risks, and communicate these risks to all persons involved in a risk management plan for the organisation.
Course & Assessment Duration
The recommended Learning Hours for the Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan programme is 16 hours of competency-based learning and assessment. The recommended learning duration for the competency unit is illustrated in Table C.

Qualifications or Experience or Both of Facilitators Conducting the Services
- Have demonstrated competency for the programme to be delivered.
- Have at least three (3) years of relevant experience at the supervisory or managerial level, including evidence of maintaining currency. For example, through recent work in the industry as a supervisor, consultant or trainer, or professional development or active membership of a professional association.
- Be certified competent in Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) or, WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) and WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance 2.0 (ACLP 2.0).

- Applicants must confirm the course start date before registration. No refund if written notice of withdrawal is less than 5 days before the course commencement date or on or after the course commencement date.
- The course schedule selected is subject to confirmation. Assure Safety reserves the right to withdraw or re-schedule the class without prior notice. The participant will be informed in writing and also entitled to a refund of all course fees that have already been paid.
- For withdrawal of courses, a written notice must be submitted and received by Assure Safety 14 days before course commencement.
- Withdrawal or refund of courses/examination fees is not allowed. All requests or refunds will be subject to approval and based on a case-by-case basis.
